STOP PRESS!!!! GYROSCOPE SOAR TO NO 1 IN AUSTRALIA!!

Many congratulations to the mighty Gyroscope, whose album "Breed Obsession" which I produced & mixed last summer at Elevator Studios in Liverpool & Livingston in London, crashed into the Australian album charts at no1! It truly is a great record & deserves all its sucess! In addition the single "Snakeskin" has been adopted as the official theme song of the Australian Rules Football League (AFC) & features in all their advertising, which is never going to hurt!!

Meanwhile, in other Eringa related news, I was incredibly proud of The Manics as they picked up their Godlike Genius award at the NME awards & we celebrated it by giving the NME a rocking cover version of Rhianna's Umbrella for a free covermount CD, but which has now taken on a bit of a life of its own on itunes - if you haven't heard it yet, hunt it down!! We recorded it in just a day & a half at Stir Studios in Cardiff & it sounds pretty fucking good, even if I do say so myself!!

In the meantime I've been working with a plethora of new bands including The X Certs, The Displacements, Hold Fire, Fox Cubs, The Telegraphs, The Acute all of which have great songs & hopefully you'll be hearing more of soon! I also did a couple of tracks with the amazing Sunshine Underground at Bryn-Derwyn Studios in North Wales.

Upcoming I have a bunch of exciting projects, so I'll keep the site updated as much as possible, in the meantime I hope you enjoy it & please forgive me for leaving baked with cheese & wedges out of the potato top 5 (how could I have been so stupid...!)
